Nepal: Missing US mountain skier Hilaree Nelson found dead

US mountain skier Hilaree Nelson, who went missing below the summit of Mt. Manaslu in Nepal, has been found dead, government officials said on Wednesday.

The body of the 49-year-old ski mountaineer is being retrieved, they said.Nelson, a mother of two, had been reported missing below the summit of the world's eighth-highest mountain after an avalanche on Monday. Nepal Police on Tuesday said that seven people were rescued from the avalanche-hit area of Mt. Manaslu. -- ANI
