Two NC leaders, many others join BJP in Jammu

Two National Conference leaders and more than 200 political and social activists joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in Jammu on Tuesday in the presence of the party's Jammu and Kashmir unit president Ravinder Raina.

The National Conference leaders who joined the BJP were provincial vice president SS Bunty and provincial secretary Pinky Bhat.

Besides them, National Justice Party president Randhir Singh Parihar and several panchayat members, doctors and retired government officials joined the party.

Former legislator Devender Singh Rana, who switched to the BJP from the National Conference last year, welcomed the new members at the party office. -- PTI
