Delhi fire: 2 company owners arrested

The Delhi police on Saturday arrested two company owners identified as Harish Goel and Varun Goel in connection with the fire that broke out at a commercial building in Mundka that claimed 27 lives.

The owner of the building has been identified as Manish Lakra and he is currently absconding. He will be nabbed soon, said DCP Sameer Sharma (outer district).

The police registered an FIR under Sections 304 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder),308 (attempt to commit culpable homicide),120 (concealing design to commit offence punishable with imprisonment),34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the IPC in connection with the massive fire tragedy. -- ANI
