Former Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh has lost in his Patiala Urban constituency.

The two-time Chief Minister lost to his Aam Aadmi Party rival Ajit Pal Singh Kohli.

In the previous election in 2017, his victory margin had been 49 per cent.

Arvind Kejriwal's AAP is heading for a landslide win in Punjab, with the ruling Congress far behind.
