All three Bharatiya Janata Party candidates for Rajya Sabha elections from Karnataka have won, the party's national general secretary C T Ravi has claimed.

"Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman, actor-politician Jaggesh and MLC Lehar Singh Siroya have won. They got more votes than the allotted ones, people from the other party helped us," the BJP said.

What this means is that while the Congress's Jairam Ramesh has won, its second candidate,  state general secretary Mansoor Ali Khan, and the Janata Dal-Secular's D Kupendra Reddy, did not make it.

There is no official word on the results as yet.
