The suspected case of monkeypox from UP's Ghaziabad has tested negative.  The sample was sent for testing to ICMR - National Institute of Virology in Pune.

A 5-year-old boy from Ghaziabad was suspected to have contracted Monkeypox.

UP Deputy CM and Health Minister Brajesh Pathak had urged people not to panic.

According to the reports, the child had symptoms associated with the monkeypox virus. "The girl complained of itching and rashes on her body. However, the testing part is just a precautionary measure. No one should panic right now," the Chief Medical Officer of Ghaziabad said.
