AIADMK interim chief K Palaniswami expels O Panneerselvam's sons, 16 other supporters of the ousted leader from the party.

Yesterday, Palaniswami announced the appointment of two senior leaders as deputy general secretaries of the party.

He urged the party workers to extend their cooperation to the new functionaries.

On Monday, Panneerselvam, three-time Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, till recently coordinator and treasurer, was expelled from the party, and . Palaniswami was elected interim general secretary.
