Unsuccessful in his own family: BJP taunts Akhilesh

Even as Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav's daughter-in-law Aparna Yadav joined the BJP, the party added insult to injury, taunting the Yadavs for their well-known infighting.

Aparna Yadav joined the party in the presence of Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya and and its state chief Swatantra Dev Singh. She is married to Prateek Yadav, son of Mulayam Singh Yadav's second wife while SP president Akhilesh Yadav is his son from the first marriage.

Maurya tweeted, "He (Akhilesh) used to claim that his government had started several developmental works. But now he does not have the courage to fight elections from any of these constituencies. I am surprised.

"The former Chief Minister and Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav is not successful in his own family. He has also been unsuccessful in being the Chief Minister of the state. He is unsuccessful as a member of parliament too."
