Need PM's blessings, says Kejriwal@victory speech

Delhi CM and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal congratulates Delhiites on the party's historic win in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi elections. Kejriwal says he is thankful to Delhi for 'choosing their son and brother' to run the MCD.

"We will try to live up to the expectations of the people. We urge parties to come together to improve Delhi," Kejriwal said.

He congratulated all the winners from AAP, BJP, Congress and Independents and said he hoped they would all work together for the betterment of Delhi.

"Existing system of "corruption and bribery" in MCD will have to be ended We have to improve the condition of Delhi and for that, we need the cooperation of the BJP, the Congress and also the blessings of the Centre and the PM," says Kejriwal.

Results: AAP (134), BJP (104), Congress (9).
