Remembering Kanti Bhatt

Senior journalist Rajdeep Sardesai who is in Gujarat to cover the ongoing state elections, shares this image writing, "Honour and privilege to be at Kantibhai Bhatt reading room and library in Ahmedabad. Kantibhai was one of the greats of Gujarati journalism: wrote 18,000 articles, more than 50 books. Yes, there was a time when editors were valued for their writing above all else! @sheela2010."

Sheela Bhatt, a senior journalist who has written several pieces for Rediff.com over the years, is third from left. Kanti Bhatt, her husband, passed away in 2019.
