India takes over G20 presidency

As India today took over the presidency of the G20, the forum of the world's largest economies, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called for a "shift in fundamental mindset to benefit humanity as a whole." 

 Modi said that India's yearlong G20 presidency will be "inclusive, ambitious, decisive, and action-oriented".

The government also seeks to build consensus on creating disaster and climate-resilient infrastructure and debt sustainability.
