Nitish to be Mahagathbandhan CM, Tejashwi dy CM?

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will meet Governor Phagu Chauhan at 4 pm on Tuesday, armed with letters of support from the Mahagathbandhan comprising the Rashtriya Janata Dal and Congress, according to highly placed sources.

In the new government that is expected to be sworn in after that, sources say that while Nitish Kumar will continue as chief minister, the RJD's Tejashwi Yadav will be the deputy CM, the sources said.

In November 2015, Nitish had been the Mahagathbandhan's CM while Tejashwi was the deputy CM -- before pulling the plug on it in 2017 and joining hands with the BJP and remained CM. -- M I Khan reports from Patna
