40% of Mumbai Coastal Road Project completed: BMC

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation announces that 40 per cent or 27 km of the Mumbai Coastal Road Project has reached completion.

This includes the completion of the 1 km long, 40 feet diameter tunnel under Malabar Hill. Only a 900-metre length of the tunnel is to be completed. It is the first of its kind under-sea tunnel of 40 feet diameter in India
