Karan Johar: Contract with Netflix for 2 years only

Filmmaker Karan Johar has clarified on the end of Dharmatic Entertainment's contract with Netflix.

"It was always a two-year deal with Netflix. No more no less. As always this is a case of making a mountain out of a molehill," Johar said.

A news report yesterday had said that Karan Johar and Netflix have ended their exclusive content deal. The deal signed in September 2019 states that Johar's digital content studio Dharmatic Entertainment was to supply all its content -- fiction and non-fiction series and films -- only to the California-based streaming giant.
