Schools in Kathua named after martyrs

Government Higher Secondary Schools in Chandwan and Barwal in Kathua district of Jammu have been renamed after Sepoy Bua Ditta Singh and Naik Yograj Singh respectively, who lost their lives in action.

"This is a good initiative and will motivate students to do something for the nation," says Shradha, granddaughter of Sepoy Bua Ditta.

Neelam Kumari, wife of Naik Yograj says," It will teach the coming generation about the sacrifice my husband made for the nation. For me, he is still alive."
