HC begins hearing Aryan Khan's bail plea

Hearing in bail applications of Aryan Khan and others begins at Bombay High Court.

ASG Anil Singh representing NCB says Accused no. 1 (Aryan Khan) is not a first time consumer of drugs, he was in contact with drug peddlers.

"We have argued conscious possession in the sessions court as well. That if two people are travelling together, and the first person knows the drug is with the other and it is for their consumption, though the person may not be in actual physical possession, he may be in "conscious possession".

Aryan Khan has been in jail since October 8.

He was arrested after drug raids on a cruise ship party on October 2 by the NCB. Aryan Khan has been denied bail twice before.

The special anti-drugs court that denied him bail last week said he knew about charas hidden in his friend Arbaaz Merchant's shoe, and this amounted to "conscious possession"
