TMC MP's convoy attacked in Tripura

TMC MP Sushmita Dev's convoy attacked in Tripura; she blames the ruling BJP in the state.

"During our outreach program, some goons attacked our cars and beat our workers. It's clear that BJP is 'Bharatiya Gunda Party'. CM Biplab Deb is giving them protection, the attackers didn't even bother to cover their faces. The CM is an useless fellow," Dev said.

Siddhartha Kar, Officer-in-charge Amtali police station said, "At around 1:30 pm we got information that two cars were attacked by unknown miscreants. Four officers moved there immediately & rescued them (TMC workers). They lodged a complaint, we will register it and will probe."
