Rahul heads to Lakhimpur, will pick up Priyanka

A 5-member Congress delegation led by Rahul Gandhi leaves for violence-hit Lakhimpur Kheri from the Lucknow airport.

He is now heading to pick up Priyanka Gandhi Vadra from Sitapur an approximately 2 hour drive. Priyanka has been in detention at a guesthouse in Sitapur since Monday.

The Congress leader is accompanied by the Chief Ministers of Punjab and Chhattisgarh, KC Venugopal and Randeep Surjewala.
