Ex-health minister KK Shailaja not in Kerala govt

Former Kerala health minister KK Shailaja, praised for handling the Covid pandemic, is not part of the Kerala cabinet. The CPM government led by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has decided to exclude KK Shailaja following the decision to add new ministers to the Cabinet. Shailaja had won the polls with a record margin of over 60,000 votes. She is known as the best woman CPM leader in Kerala after Gouri Amma and Susheela Gopalan.
