A 4-member team of Ministry of Home Affairs that is in the state to assess post-poll violence situation, arrives at Raj Bhavan in Kolkata.

The four member team, constituted by the Ministry of Home Affairs is headed by an additional secretary rank official.

Following TMCs thumping victory in Assembly polls on Sunday, there have been reports of widespread violence in the state with many BJP offices and workers being allegedly targeted by TMC workers. There have also been reports of TMC leaders being targeted by the BJP. More than 14 deaths have been reported till date.
