Maha reports 9927 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hrs

The number of new Covid-19 cases in Maharashtra continues to rise with the state reporting 9,927 new Covid-19 cases and 56 deaths on Tuesday.

The state's case fatality rate stands at 2.35 per cent. Case fatality rate is the percentage of Covid-19 patients who have died in the state.

A total of 12,182 patients were discharged on Tuesday, taking the total number of recoveries to 20,89,294. As per the health department, the state's current recovery rate is 93.34 per cent.

Maharashtra has so far tested 1,70,22,315 samples for Covid-19, of which 22,38,398 have tested positive for the viral disease.
