TMC flags 'BJP judge' hearing Nandigram case

TMC's Mahua Moitra and Derek O'Brien flag the selection of the judge hearing West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's petition challenging the election of Leader Of Opposition Suvendu Adhikari from Nandigram.

Derek O'Brien had tweeted this picture of the Justice Kaushik Chandra writing, "Matters where Justice Kaushik Chanda has appeared for the Bharatiya Janata Party before the Calcutta High Court. And now he has been assigned to hear the Nandigram election case. One big coincidence?"

TMC MP Mahua Moitra tweeted the same picture adding, "MiLord- get a conscience or at least a better veil! Mamatadi's Nandigaram petition listed before Justice Kaushik Chandra, member of BJP's legal cell & BJP lawyer in numerous appearances Save our judiciary!"
