India sees 1.2L new cases, lowest in 58 days

In the last 24 hours, India recorded 1.2 lakh new cases of Covid-19 which is the lowest single-day increase in cases in the last 58 days.

Active Covid-19 cases in the country stand at 15,55,248.

More than 2.67 crore people have recovered from the Covid infection across the country so far with 1,97,894 people recovering in the last 24 hours.

Daily positivity rate further dipped to 5.78 per cent while the recovery rate continued an upward trend at 93.38 per cent.
