Watch: Documentary on Mumbai's beloved Rhythm House

The Last Music Store by Megha Ramaswamy and Aliya Curmally documents the life and times and death of Mumbai's iconic music store, Rhythm House.

The documentary won the Audience Award for Best Documentary at the South Asian International Film Festival of New York and was screened at the prestigious Sheffield Documentary Festival and Mumbai's beloved Kalaghoda Arts Festival in 2017.

Rhythm House downed shutters in 2015 due to the challenges posed by new technologies and piracy.

The film captures the lament of the store's eccentric and loyal workers who are coping in their own unique ways.
