Farmers protest updates:

1. Indian National Lokdal leader Abhay Singh Chautala resigns from the membership of Haryana Legislative Assembly in support of the farmers protesting in Delhi against three farm laws; resignation accepted by the Speaker.

2. BKU spox Rakesh Tikait's name mentioned in an FIR by Delhi Police. The FIR mentions multiple IPC sections, including sec 307 (attempt to murder), 147 (punishment for rioting) & 353 (assault/criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty): Delhi Police.

3. The post mortem report clarifies that he (farmer who died during the tractor rally in Delhi yesterday) was not shot. He succumbed to the antemortem injuries which he received after his tractor turned turtle as seen in the viral video: Avinash Chandra, ADG Bareilly in Rampur, UP.

4. We can't carry forward a protest with someone whose direction is something else. So, I wish them the best but VM Singh and All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee are withdrawing from this protest right away: VM Singh, All India Kisan Sangharsh Coordination Committee.
