He walked to the stage as his supporters chanted 'We love you'.

Trump replied to them saying 'We love you', on behalf of Melania too.

"This has been an incredible four years. We accomplished so much together. I want to thank my family, friends and my staff. Want to thank you for your effort. People have no idea how hard this family worked," Trump said.

He then invited Melania to speak.

In a short address, she said, "It's been an honour to be the First Lady. God bless you all and your families."
