Covid vaccines are 'Sanjivani': Vardhan

COVID-19 vaccines are 'Sanjivani' in our fight against coronavirus infection, Union health minister Harsh Vardhan said after the COVID-19 vaccination drives kicked off in the country.

"This is probably the biggest immunisation campaign against COVID-19 anywhere in the world. India has tremendous experience in handling such issues. We have already eradicated polio and smallpox," Vardhan said.

"Have won battle against polio, small pox. Now we have reached a decisive phase in war against COVID-19, he added.
