Pence breaks with Trump, says can't reject votes

US Vice President Mike Pence will not attempt to oppose US President-elect Joe Biden's victory, rejecting Donald Trump's attempt to pressure him into unilaterally blocking the election results.

"It is my considered judgement that my oath to support and defend the Constitution constrains me from claiming unilateral authority to determine which electoral votes should be counted and which should not," Pence wrote to lawmakers in a three-page letter.
