Nadda launches Bengal manifesto in Kolkata

BJP national president JP Nadda launches 'Lokkho Sonar Bangla' (Target golden Bengal) manifesto crowdsourcing campaign', in Kolkata. State BJP chief Dilip Ghosh and party's National General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya also present on the occasion.

The Barrackpore City Police in West Bengal has allegedly refused permission for the BJP's Poriborton Yatra rally to be held in the town of Barrackpore on Thursday, 25 February, alleged the party.

BJP's national president, JP Nadda, who is in Bengal, was to be the main leader at the rally, which would be the culmination of the Nabadwip leg of the party's Poriborton yatra.

BJP MP from Barrackpore, Arjun Singh, took to Twitter to say that the party would halt preparations for the rally and take the matter to court.
