West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee hit out at Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a rally in Hooghly, calling him 'biggest dangabaaz (rioter) in the country'.

"You (Modi) say that Trinamool Congress is 'Tolabaaj', but I say you are 'dangabaaz and dhandabaaz'," Banerjee said.

She said that the Bharatiya Janata Party will not be able to 'score a single goal' in Bengal, apparently suggesting that the saffron camp will draw a blank in the upcoming elections.

"I will be the goalkeeper in assembly polls and BJP will not be able to score a single goal," she said.

Reiterating her 'outsider' remark for Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, she said, "Bengal will rule Bengal. Gujarat will not rule Bengal. Modi will not rule Bengal. 'Gundas' (goons) will not rule Bengal."

Banerjee said that 'worse fate' than former United States President Donald Trump awaits Modi.

She also said that CBI interrogation of TMC MP Abhishek Banerjee's wife is an 'insult to our women'.   -- PTI/ANI
