RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat meets Mithun in Mumbai

Ahead of the crucial West Bengal assembly elections, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat on Monday met actor Mithun Chakraborty at the latter's residence in Mumbai, setting off speculation if the actor would be joining the BJP.

Chakraborty was a member of the Rajya Sabha from the Trinamool Congress and had resigned in December 2016 over health concerns.

He had met the RSS chief earlier in Nagpur as well, and had invited Bhagwat to his home in Mumbai.
