World is looking for new leaders post Corona: PM

Modi in Parliament: "During the times of corona the way India handled the pandemic and helped the world was a turning point. The common people of India showed their strong will during the pandemic. World is looking for new world leaders and we have to emerge as a strong nation post pandemic.

"Our doctors, nurses, COVID warriors, Safai Karamcharis, those who drove ambulances...such people and so many others became manifestations of the divine who strengthened India's fight against the global pandemic.

New world-order is visible post-Corona," says PM.

The British said India is in itself like a continent of many countries; no one can keep it together as a nation. But we Indians proved them wrong. Today, we are a ray of hope for the entire world.

"Manish Tewari said that we stayed protected from Corona by God's grace. I'd like to say something. This indeed is God's grace that the entire world shook but we remained safe. It was because doctors and nurses came as God, because they couldn't return to their homes for 15 days."
