IMA asks for booster Covid shots

The government continues to turn a deaf ear to studies as well as pleas by scientists to begin administering booster shots for Covid-19. Now, the IMA also asks for boosters.

"It's important that all healthcare workers and frontline workers should be given vaccine booster doses to enhance their immunity. We are lacking in the area of manpower as NEET-PG counseling is getting delayed. The PM should step in to stop this delay," says Dr JA Jayalal, President, IMA on the Omicron variant infections in the country.
