7 more Omicron cases reported in Maharashtra

Seven more people have tested positive for the Omicron variant of COVID-19 in Maharashtra, the state health department said.

"Four persons who returned from foreign tours and three of their close contacts have test positive for Omicron variant in Pune," a health official said.

With these, the total cases of Omicron variant reported in Maharashtra have increased to eight.
