Param Bir to be charged in extortion case today

The Crime Branch Unit 11 of the Mumbai police will file chargesheet against former city police commissioner Param Bir Singh and others in Goregaon alleged extortion case on Saturday.

Singh had recorded his statement in the case last week.

Param Bir Singh accepted his suspension order and the Maharashtra home department received its acknowledgement on Friday. -- ANI
