Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait said that talks between Haryana chief minister and farmers on Friday remained inconclusive, although they've agreed to take back the cases registered against farmers.

"Like Punjab, we need state-wise compensation for deaths of farmers and employment,' said Tikait on farmers association meeting, which is to be held on Saturday.

He also said that the farmers' demand for minimum support price is from the government of India.

"The talks have just started, we'll see how it goes. We won't develop any strategies today (Saturday). We will only discuss how the agitation moves forward,' said Tikait. -- ANI
