LS okays bill restoring states' quota power

The Lok Sabha on Tuesday approved the Constitution (One Hundred and Twenty Seventh Amendment) Bill 2021, restoring the power of states and UTs to make their own OBC lists, after a daylong debate in which the Opposition supported the government's move.

In all, 385 members approved the motion, and no member opposing it.
