Wins & losses part of life: PM on hockey loss

"Wins and losses are a part of life. Our Mens Hockey Team at #Tokyo2020 gave their best and that is what counts," Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted after India's heartbreaking loss in the semi-finals of the Olympics in hockey.

India men's hockey team lost their semifinal match against the 2018 world champions Belgium on Tuesday at the Tokyo Olympics, thus missing out on a chance to make their first Olympic final in over four decades.

The last time India had played the men's hockey final at the Olympics was back in 1980 when the team had won the gold medal.
