Tika Utsav begins, PM makes several suggestions

On first day of 'tika utsav', Prime Minister Narednra Modi makes several suggestions, calls for 'each one vaccinate one'.

The PM calls for helping others in COVID treatment, protection from virus by promoting mask; says 'each one, protect one' and 'each one, save one'.

He urged families and society to take lead in setting up micro containment zones in case of any COVID-19 infection.

"We're going to begin 'Tika Utsav' today nationwide.

"I urge countrymen to abide by 4 things -- assist those who need help getting inoculated, help people in COVID treatment, wear masks and motivate others and if someone tests positive, create micro-containment zone in the area," the PM said.

'Tika utsav' marks second big war on corona; we have to stress on personal and social hygiene, he said. -- PTI/ANI
