Mamata gets another EC notice, for CAPF remarks

The Election Commission of India has issued a notice to West Bengal Chief Minister and Trinamool Congress leader Mamata Banerjee, asking her to explain her stand by April 10, regarding her statements against central forces made on March 28 and April 7.

This is the second notice issued to her by the EC.

Earlier, she was issued a notice on Wednesday for her alleged appeal to Muslim voters while campaigning in Hooghly to not allow their votes get split among different political parties.
