In Bengal, clash erupts between TMC and BJP supporters in Arambag, as voting in assembly elections is underway. "In Arandi-I area here, we have minority, SC voters who love Mamata Banerjee. Goons of BJP threatened and tortured women voters last night," says Sujata Mondal, TMC candidate from Arambagh.

Around 34.71 per cent voter turnout was recorded till 11.30 am as the polling for the third phase of West Bengal Assembly elections is underway.
