They haven't been able to break Didi's heart: Jaya

Samajwadi Party (SP) MP Jaya Bachchan in Kolkata: "My party leader Akhilesh Yadav has asked me to come here to give my support to TMC. I have the utmost love and respect for Mamataji, a single woman fighting against all atrocities.
"Head broken, leg broken but they have not been able to break her heart, brain, and her determination to move ahead and make Bengal one of the best in the world. I believe, whatever Mamataji wants to do, she will do it. "
Jaya is expected to campaign for the TMC candidate from Tollygunje.
Earlier, Babul Supriyo, the BJP candidate from Tollygunge, said, "I welcome her (Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Bachchan) in West Bengal. I won't talk about family relations with her but she knows me very well. She will speak against BJP but she will never say anything against me."
Jaya Bachchan's visit to the Bengal comes after after West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee wrote to opposition party leaders to campaign against the BJP in the Assembly polls.
Banerjee called "for a united and effective struggle against the BJP's attacks on democracy and Constitution" and suggested that a meeting should be held after the assembly polls to "deliberate the issues and chart out a plan of action". She had also sent the letter to SP chief Akhilesh Yadav.
