India's daily COVID-19 count falls to 45,148

India reported 45,149 new coronavirus infections, taking the total tally to 79,09,960.

The death toll rises to 1,19,014 with 480 new fatalities.

Total active cases in the country now are 6,53,717 while 71,37,229 people have been recovered from the disease.
