COVID: India reports 53,370 new cases, 650 deaths

India reported 53,370 new coronavirus infections and 650 deaths in the last 24 hours, Union health ministry data showed.

With the new cases the country's caseload rises to 78,14,682 while death toll stands at 1,17,956.

There are 6,80,680 active COVID-19 cases in India while 70,16,046 people have recovered from the disease so far.
