Defence Minister and BJP leader Rajnath Singh at a public rally in Kahalgaon, Bihar: "Laalten phoot gayi hai aur tel beh gayi hai, ab na panjaa ka chali aur na unka koi khel chali." He was referring to the Mahagathbandhan of Congress and RJD for the Bihar polls.

"Around 25 lakh people in the state of Bihar are receiving benefits under Ayushman Bharat Scheme. There will come a time when everyone in Bihar will receive the healthcare benefits from the scheme," he said.

BJP national president JP Nadda, in Bettiah: "Prior to 2014, nobody presented their report card. People used to speak of their caste in public addresses and ask for votes on basis of their caste and region. In 2014 Narendra Modi changed the character of India's politics.

"Tejashwi's posters don't show Lalu. Modiji's politics have made people so aware that son is removing his own father from posters. Tejashwi knows that if there's Lalu ji's photo, it'll remind of 'lalten yug' & when JP speaks with Modi ji's photo it'll remind of 'LED yug'."
