CNN predicts that Biden will win California

Joe Biden will win California, CNN projects. California is the most populous state in the US, and carries the most electoral college votes, at 55.

The Democrats have long counted on California as a more or less guaranteed source of electoral college votes.

Yet it hasn't always been a Democratic stronghold.

CNN also projects that Biden will win Washington, which has 12 electoral votes at stake.

Meanwhile, Trump will win Wyoming with its 3 seats and Oregon with its 7 seats, CNN projects.
