PM, Shah at BJP HQ as Scindia is set to join BJP

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union home minister Amit Shah and other senior leaders arrived at the BJP headquarters in Delhi for the Central Election Committee meeting to decide on the candidates for the upcoming Rajya Sabha election.

The meeting is underway amid reports that Jyotiraditya Scinidia, who resigned from the Congress in the morning, will join the BJP today.

Earlier today, Scindia met PM Modi at his residence at Lok Kalyan Marg.

Shortly after, he announced his resignation from the Congress.

The leader was accompanied by home minister when he went to meet the PM.
