India-China hold meet on Ladakh standoff

India and China holding Brigadier and Colonel-level talks to resolve the ongoing stand-off in Eastern Ladakh at Galwan River area and Hot Springs. There has been limited disengagement of troops at more locations: Indian Army sources.

The Chinese Army has deployed its troops all along the over 4,000 kilometre-long Line of Actual Control after which India has also rushed its fighting formations to forward locations in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim and Arunachal Pradesh.
