The rear part of wall cloud region is still over the sea and the landfall process will be completed by next one hour, says IMD.

IMD also said that Nisarga is likely to move northeastwards and weaken into a cyclonic storm during the next six hours. Alibagh reported 93 kmph windspeed at 13:30 hours IST, says IMD.

Weatherman Skymet has issued a statement, saying, "Threat for Mumbai is almost over. Rains to continue until tonight but winds will not exceed 50 kmph."

Meanwhile, Mumbai police has reported that three members of a family were injured when cement blocks from an adjacent under-construction building fell on their shanty at Santacruz in Mumbai due to gusty winds.
