India reports whopping 45,720 new cases in 1 day

India recorded the highest single-day increase with 45,720 new cases pushing the Covid-19 tally to 12,38,635.

The total number of deaths has climbed to 29,861 while 7,82,606 persons have been cured or discharged.

The total number of Covid-19 samples tested up to July 22 is 1,50,75,369 including 3,50,823 samples tested yesterday, says Indian Council of Medical Research.
